Yes. We know that friends, family and neighbours are often a critical part of our Clients' support networks.

We think that communication is our biggest strength. We don't hesitate to get in touch with concerns, and our phone line is staffed 24/7.

We also have a 'Friends and Family' app that enables you to see all the details of the visits our Carers make in real time - who attended, the care tasks that were completed, and any notes or observations made. We have lots of feedback that this provides a high degree of peace of mind for those who are involved in their loved ones' care.

Everyone's situation is unique, but we believe everyone should be able to stay in their own home as long as they want to. These are some of the advantages of Home Care over residential care:

  • You get to stay in the comfort and familiarity of your own home
  • Friends, family and other guests can visit whenever you like without restriction
  • You have full control over your routine and lifestyle
  • Full control over meal times and preferences
  • Maintain your independence
  • More cost-effective for most people

We understand that it is important for our Clients to know and trust the Carers who visit them. That's why we try to keep the number of Carers who visit you as small as possible, so they can get to know you and your routine as well as possible.

Equally, everyone needs time off occasionally, so we ensure that other members of the team are familiar with you and your care needs when cover is required.

We aim for a very high level of consistency with our visit times, and these are generally the same every day. If there is a significant change or delay, we will let you know.

We will visit you in person to create a create a detailed Care Plan. This will detail all the tasks that you need support with, from support with meals and medication, to looking after your pet.

Once care commences, Carers will use a digital app to check exactly what they need to do on every visit. This app works in real time, so if you need to make a change, our office can do this remotely and instantly.

Yes. We can help prompt or administer medication - as long as it is prescribed.

This is not a service that we advertise, however when requests are made, we will review our staffing capacity and confirm whether we are able to provide overnight care so please ask if this is a service that you require - we can usually work something out.

Yes, we are proud to provide services on behalf of the NHS and Hampshire County Council, and have done so for over ten years.

Depending on your circumstances, your local council may contribute to the cost of homecare or you may have to pay for it yourself.

If your needs assessment recommends homecare, you may get help with the cost from the council. What you'll contribute depends on your income and savings. The council will work this out in a means-tested financial assessment.

In England the council generally helps to pay for care costs if you have savings less than £23,250. From October 2025 this will rise to £100,000 in savings.

It may be that you'll have to pay towards the cost of your care. The more money you have, the more you'll be expected to pay.

If the council is paying for some or all of your homecare, they must give you a care and support plan. This sets out what your needs are, how they will be met and your personal budget (the amount the council thinks your care should cost).

If you're not eligible for the council to contribute to your homecare costs, you'll have to pay for it yourself.

You can read more on the Hampshire County Council website.
